Scheduling Rooms Managed by Academic Computing & Networking
Academic Computing & Networking manages open computer labs and computer teaching labs in several locations on campus. Conference rooms and video conferencing resources are also available in some locations and may be reserved for incidental use. Open computer labs cannot be reserved for teaching classes - they are available to students for general use during all open hours. Some computer teaching labs managed by Academic Computing & Networking are designated for primary use by certain programs such as EPICS and the Writing Center and are scheduled through those programs in consultation with the Registrar and with Academic Computing & Networking during the summer months. General computer teaching labs in the Green Center and the CTLM are available to reserve for class use. Please review the information below for seating capacities, layouts, and resources available in these rooms.
AC&N Tip
Priority for scheduling computer teaching labs will always be given to classes that require students to use the computers during class. Classes found not to be using the computers may be bumped from a room in favor of a class that needs them or even to provide open lab time.
If you don't need student computers but do need a room with projection or the use of a portable Smartboard system, please work with the Registrar, Academic Computing & Networking, or an academic department to find an acceptable room for your class.
