Licensing to use this product:
-
Expiration: Depends on several factors.
Please contact AC&N via the
Mines Help Center
for detailed information.
-
Central License Server: FlexLM licensing serves
academic lab licenses for use only in their respective labs.
Method for Obtaining:
If you need Matlab installed on a CSM-owned
machine, AC&N will want you to submit a request for installation to the
Mines Help Center.
|
Prior to submitting your request, please identify which research
license and toolbox licenses you will need. Obtain an email
written by the owner of the license granting you permission to use
their license(s) and paste it in the description field of the Help Center
Service Request. |
Additonal information that AC&N will need:
-
Your name
-
Your
advisor or equivalent if you are a student
-
Your phone extension
-
The
machine's operating system, location and owner
-
The general use to which
the software will be put.
|
Please do not submit requests to
install the software on a single or limited-number of lab
machines; the software "build" and licensing on lab machines
is frozen in support of the CSM academic mission. AC&N
can not accommodate "on-the-fly" lab installations. |
Cost to Qualified CSM End-Users:
AC&N does not currently charge for use of
this license in supported labs and classrooms.
Media:
One program installation CD ROM, varies by
platform and licensing mode.
Documentation:
Available on MathWorks
Matlab
Documentation web-site.
In Case of Difficulties with
the Software:
Contact us via the
Mines Help Center! We want to get you to where the program is
properly installed, functional and legally licensed. We may be
able answer some questions about
the general use of the program, but we expect you to do the bulk of the work in
that area.
